COMPRESSION
The type of compression determines the space your recorded data will take.
Here are a few common compression rates available in our systems:
MJPEG (Motion JPEG) - Low Compression (bigger files), High Quality
MPEG4/H.264 - High Compression (smaller files), Accetable Quality
FRAME RATE (1-30)
Determines the speed of motion seen on video.
30 fps (frames per second) is seen as “realtime”, similar to what we see on TV.
Lower frame rates makes the motion stutter (less smooth), but takes up less HDD space.
NETWORKING
DVRs with the networking function allows you to view your CCTV over the internet,
anywhere in the world.
